Entitled Ultimate Elvis – The Complete And Definitive Recording Sessions book, this three-volume, individually numbered, deluxe set (in a beautiful slipcase), not only comprises all the session information available to date, based on Keith Flynn's incomparable website keithflynn.com, but includes comprehensive notes on each session, discographies, reviews of every single, EP and album release, release dates, facsimiles of RCA's paperwork, session logs, listing notices, letters from Colonel Parker's office and RCA's archive, the reproduction of original sheet music covers (courtesy of Chris Giles), a huge index and a host of other things. Of course, as you have come to expect from The Elvis Files, the icing on the cake is a wealth of stunning photographs - approximately 1500 of them! - many of them previously unseen, relating to the time period in question. Da ist mein hochgeschätzter Keith Flynn!!! Das könnte nicht interessant sein, sondern das ist ein MUSS!

Ich will das Set u-n-b-e-d-i-n-g-t! Eine gedruckte Version von Keith Flynn's Seite - ein Traum! Von den anderen Beteiligten wie Gordon Minto mal ganz abgesehen!

Das wird ein interessanter Wettstreit zwischen Keith und Tunzi. Bin ja mal gespannt, wer als Sieger hervorgeht. Schade, dass beide Projekte schnell wieder unaktuell werden.

Da kann Tunzi nicht mithalten. Vermutlich ist er dieses Mal - Achtung! TUSCH! - sogar günstiger als andere. Die drei Bücher werden sicher mehr kosten als das Buch von Tunzi, jedoch sicherlich qualitativ Tunzi bei Weitem übertreffen!

Ich halte die 1000 Seiten von Tunzi sowieso für ein Gerücht.

Was mag die Box kosten? 300 Euro?

Der Preis würde mich auch sehr interessieren!!! Aber wie auch immer, an den drei Bücher komme ich eh nicht vorbei!!!

Das edle Teil wird wohl was Elvis'Musik betrifft nicht mehr zu toppen sein.Sieht Bombe aus und wird "Das" ultimative Nachschlagwerk.
Wahnsinn,das haut selbst mich als langjährigen Sammler um und das passiert nicht oft!

Das kann es nicht geben. Bücher mit solchem Inhalt verlieren leider schnell an Aktualität. Das ist der Nachteil gegenüber einer Website. Deshalb bedaure ich den Schritt von Keith auch etwas.

Seine geniale Website war aktuell und kostenlos.
