Because Elvis is so much more than the King...

ich habe zugegebendermaßen immer wieder meine Probleme damit, wenn medizinische Details hier von offensichtlichen Laien aufbereitet werden ...
ich wiederum finde, es gibt kaum Spannenderes

You suggested in your earlier reply that " .. breathing problems … when given subcutaneously or intramuscularly sudden respiratory depression rarely occurs … "..
This is simply not true as mentioned above.... breathing problems is one of the most common side effects (not limited to IV).
In addition, the side effects of Demerol in combination with a lack of alpha atropine.. a proteine and a diagnostic differentiator for classifying the cause of a major lung disease is well known. So breathing problems as a result of Demerol are not very strange...Zuletzt geändert von Gast; 03.06.2009, 00:23- Übersetzen

Vacation is always too short...anyhow...some more information
Elvis was diagnosed twice with an Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency, this is a proteine which causes early emphesema...a serious lung disease. ...currently under the COPD umbrella
Since Elvis was diagnosed with a lack of this proteine first time since 1975, it would be very foolish to prescribe Demerol.
More info later ...- Übersetzen

I'm sorry for having interfered with your interestingly evolving medical theories ... it looks like you read a lot about it ... but for some reason you don't seem to be able to understand the pharmacological differences beween the varying parenteral routes ... luckily you are not treating any living patientsYou suggested in your earlier reply that " .. breathing problems … when given subcutaneously or intramuscularly sudden respiratory depression rarely occurs … "..

...
... that lack of comprehension makes room for speculation about any profound medical competence or whatever you're trying to show off here ... of course only to the professional reader ... and I'll keep quiet from now on ... I promise
Off-Topic:
a lack of what ... alpha atropine? ... got things a little mixed up here hm
