"Komm und versüß' mir die Nacht" ist natürlich sehr frei übersetzt. Aber "Hilf mir es durch die Nacht zu schaffen" oder "Hilf mir die Nacht zu überstehen" hätte ich irgendwie nicht so schön und auch so negativ gefunden
! Und sie versüßt ihm ja die Nacht und rettet ihn aus der Einsamkeit, allein durch ihre Anwesenheit , denn mehr will er ja nicht von ihr 
Also für alle nicht englischsprechenden: Er braucht wirklich nur Gesellschaft und Zuneigung, keinen Sex!

, ich würde auch nicht mit der Tür ins Haus fallen, für mich ist der Song sowas wie Rock'n Roll Text mit Country-Melody, wenn man bedenkt wer das Lied geschrieben hat, der alte Haudegen Kris Kristofferson, und in welcher Zeit ('69/'70)
