[From William Morris Agency to Elvis - June 2, 1970 ]
" The following constitutes our agreement with respect to the Colonel's
current engagement with MGM for your services in the proposed Elvis Presley
film in concert:
1. In consideration for the rendition by us of contract and accounting
services, including the payment of expenses, our commision is to be computed
as follows:
a) Out of the total compensation payable to you by MGM in the sum of
$500,000 the first $100,000 is to be considered expenses and
non-commisionable to us. Said sum is to be held in our account and to be
divided as follows:
$50,000 to Elvis Presley to cover related expenses;
$50,000 to ALL-ATAR SHOWS to cover related expenses.
b) The balance of $400,000 is to be comissionable to us which leaves
$360,000.
c) The balance of $360,000 is to be divided as follows:
25% ($90,000) to Col. Parker
75% ($270,000) to Elvis Presley
If the foregoing is in accordance with your understanding and agreement,
kindly indicate by signing in the space herein below provided.
