Eines ist jetzt schon klar leider ist es bei den Songs She's Not You + Suspicion wieder genau so wie bei Surrender bei der His Hand In Mine Session der Workpart wurde manuell vollzogen u. deshalb sind der Org. Mastertake u. auch der Workpart in der Ursprungsform nicht mehr vorhanden sondern nur der komplette Master.

Auch relativ neu ist bei Little Sister ist Take 12 der Master u. nicht wie früher in der Elvis Literatur immer angegeben Take 4.

Rein inhaltlich gesehen schon. Bisher war es allerdings so, dass FTD bei den Session Outtakes oft etwas mehr Hall dazu gemischt hat, wie bei den Bootleg CDs (siehe z.B. Surrender) vorhanden. Das bleibt dann letzten Endes Geschmackssache. Ich finde es z.T. interessant, wenn Elvis' Stimme etwas direkter klingt. Das wäre allerdings der einzige Grund, warum man die ein oder andere Bootleg noch behalten könnte.

Also wenn du mich fragst sind die Bootlegs dann für die Tonne. Der Klang ist ja nicht gewollt sondern aus der Situation entstanden weil man halt auf den Kopien der Bänder keinen andere Möglichkeit hatte um noch etwas am Mix zu ändern.

Ja, also im Grunde gebe ich Dir recht. Ich habe bzgl. der "Something for everybody" Session halt ein wenig verglichen - Something Complete, Unsurpassed Masters Boxen etc., also Bootlegs, die an sich schon einen sehr guten Klang haben. Wenn man wie ich nicht so auf den Hall steht, ist das sehr angenehm zu hören. Für die meisten dürfte es aber keine Rolle spielen.
