    Wild Tiger at The Hilton

    Wild Tiger at The Hilton

The MxF label will release soon its new CD titled “Wild Tiger at The Hilton'' featuring Vegas August 22, 1974 Midnight Show.
Elvis' performance is superb, still at the top if his ability he deliveries a long show which is very intense, there is a freshness that cannot be denied, Elvis was very energetic on stage, full of enthusiasm he sang with power and sensitivity, delivering a solid and heartfelt repertoire like the new song “It's Midnight” and the classic “You Gave Me a Mountain” sang terrifically.

At the same time he worked in heavy rock songs like “Big Boss Man” and the showstopper “If You Talk In Your Sleep”. This season will be remembered for the great opening night and naturally for the Closing Nights from the numerous dialogues, but for the superb music too, Elvis looks fantastic and it is clear that despite it all the music keeps his brain active.

The sound is great an unbelievable audience recording, We have on our hands an early generation mono tape of extremely good quality enabling us to carry out simple re-mastering work, concentrating on the reduction of the low frequency noise whilst trying to achieve a more clear sound and of Elvis, keeping his vocal power up in the central mix and at the same time trying to give a great definition to the background music.

From the first time from this label, this new CD will come in a deluxe DIGIPACK, containing a collection of live photographs of the August 24 and 25 Dinner Show concerts. We love this show, it is clear we are not talking about the rough rocker of early 69/71, but in spite of some limitations and an evolution of style to a more complete musical range the man is still at the top and Elvis at the top means an unforgettable experience for those who attended the show and for those of us prepared to listen. Don't miss it!!!!

    1. 2001 Theme
    2. See See Rider
    3. I Got A Woman / Amen
    4. Love Me
    5. If You Love Me (Let Me Know)
    6. It’s Midnight
    7. Big Boss Man
    8. Fever
    9. Love Me Tender
    10. All Shook Up
    11. I'm Leavin'
    12. Softly As I Leave You
    13. Hound Dog
    14. You Gave Me A Mountain
    15. Intro John O'Grady
    16. Suspicious Minds
    17. An Der Schonen Blauen Donau
    18. Introductions
    19. If You Talk In Your Sleep
    20. Why Me Lord
    21. Teddy Bear / Don't Be Cruel
    22. Help Me
    23. The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face
    24. Let Me Be There(with Reprise)
    25. Can't Help Falling In Love / Closing Vamp

Da bin ich ja mal gespannt, was der Sound so hergibt... expect nothing and be possibly surprised!

                              Fazit:
Neue Show in gutem Sound, daher willkommen.....Layout/Verpackung ist etwas "gewöhnungsbedürftig"
