ELVIS is a 2-DISC SET in the CLASSIC ALBUM series.Originally released in 1973, the track listing was changed substantially before its commercial release. Here for the first time, ALL the proposed recordings are in included for the first time.

In addition, it features great unreleased outtakes. The 7” inch digi-pack format features a 12-page booklet with great photographs and wonderful unseen memorabilia.

Besonders auf PADRE freue ich mich. Ist jetzt nicht ironisch gemeint, ich bin einer der wenigen Fans die diesen Song mögen. Vom Arrangement bis zum Gesang des großen Meisters ist alles dermaßen kitschig und übertrieben, dass es schon wieder gut ist!

nun ja.. dass die damals mit der bildbearbeitung noch nicht so auf zack waren, hat man ja noch gelten lassen.
aber wenn ich mir seinen linken arm und hier besonders den ärmel und das handgelenk ansehe, hätte man ruhig das damals verwendte ORIGINAL-foto heranziehen und in szene setzen können

Anscheinend standen die Elvis-Tonträger immer dann zur Veröffentlichung an, wenn das Art-Department von RCA Urlaub hatte.

So schwer hat sich FTD mit keinem anderen Release aus der Classic-Album-Reihe getan.

Der VÖ von 1973 war schon konzeptlos, und jetzt setzt sich das fort. Das Ganze sieht schon sehr nach einem Flickwerk von Leftovers aus.
