Ah jetzt bin ich im richtigen Thread. Ich freu mich auf die neue Auflage , wenn sich die Gelegenheit ergibt , kann man ja die A Hot Winter Night.... auch noch erwerben !
Ob mit Original Bänder gearbeitet wurde oder nicht muß ja nicht immer was heißen! Kommt ja drauf an wie man arbeitet!

Und ich dachte man hat irgendeine neue Aufzeichnung/Quelle gefunden, denn die Titel "Mountain" und "Jailhouse Rock" bleiben "incomplete".....Also, org. Baxter Bänder, die damals '98 verwendet wurden, es scheint wohl die einzige (uns bekannte) Aufzeichnung von dem Konzert zu sein...

Naja, beim letzten Mal ist es ja auch erst aufgefallen, nachdem es hier gepostet wurde. Da haben auf einmal alle schon sofort gemerkt, dass da was nicht stimmt.

Ist halt wie mit dem betrügerischen Verkäufer an der Haustür. Erst lassen sie sich von Kopf bis Fuß abzocken und kommen dann mit dem Satz "Der kam mir gleich irgendwie komisch vor".

Woll'n mal sehen, was da jetzt kommt. Neues Spiel, neues Glück!

Wobei völlig egal ist, welche "Generation" das DAT hat. Aber Hauptsache, man bringt mal irgendwo "1st generation" unter...

Ich denke nicht, dass es irgendwelche wesentlichen Verbesserung bringt, und die "Hot Winter Night" war doch bereits top. Die einzige Neuauflage, bei der das bisher so war, ist One Night Only gewesen. Alles andere: Nepper, Schlepper, Bauernfänger.

And I am certain you will very much enjoy the show, because E is in grate shape. I just think that the sound of the old FB is much better (clearer might be the right word, although I'm not sure that is the right way to say that in english). I tried this cd because nowadays we get a lot of earlier released shows with socalled improved sound. Apparently this is just a sales line! LOL! I once discovered the difference between the old Vicky's On Tour shows and the releases of the same shows by the guys of the Triangle label......WOW! I wish I could say the same from this 76 show, but I will keep playin' the FB one!

Paulex, according to the press-release this is a recording straight from the mixing-desk. Is the sound bad ? I ordered "At Full Force" too 'cause I never had the chance to obtain the FB. Waiting for my copy. Always El.

just got the Full Force cd. I decided to listen to the sound of the old FB first. Right after that I placed Full Force in the cd player.....and what a disapointment that was! Off course it's my own opinion, but I believe the FB is much better soundwise than this "new and improved" Full Force. This was once but never again. I do not believe this "sound improvement" bs ever again! lol!
