It's a sad thing, but with thousands of Elvis fans in town, the former Elvis Presley's Memphis Restaurant is still closed and abandoned. After the opening of the Graceland operated restaurant, the only top months of the year were January and August - not enough to make the restaurant profitable. The place was renamed "EP's Delta Kitchen" but that didn't work out either. According to the information we picked up at Beale Street yesterday, the former restaurant is set to reopen again, this time as a night club - although the beautiful Elvis sign will be taken down. Let's wait and see.
