A new Elvis venture is ready to hit the road. Elvis collector and major aficionado Jeremy Pearce unveiled his traveling Elvis museum this past weekend. Now, Pearce is ready to share his considerable collection of Elvis memorabilia and artifacts with fans everywhere. The Memphis King’s Mobile Museum is the only traveling Elvis museum of its kind. The museum collection features dozens of items personally owned and used by Elvis Presley and is housed within a beautifully customized 30-foot trailer in five stunning display cases. “I have always dreamed of owning an Elvis museum ever since I started collecting twenty years ago. But this exceeds even my wildest dreams!” Pearce explains. As if the museum inside was not enough, the side of the museum trailer transforms into a three dimensional recreation of the front of the King’s Memphis mansion. From the white pillars, to the stone lions, to the bushes and porch, the illusion is totally complete. Pearce’s collection features items from Elvis’ career and his personal life as well. Among the items on display are clothing, items from Graceland and Elvis’ other homes, and an array of Elvis owned jewelry – of which the highlight is Elvis’ personally worn TCB necklace, the most significant piece of jewelry in Rock & Roll history. Until now, Pearce has only had his collection for personal enjoyment, but he jumped at the chance to share it through this incredible museum. He knows not every Elvis fan can make it to Memphis, and with so many fan events across the country, he wanted to create an opportunity for the Elvis experience to reach everyone. And he has.
