Ich denke mal, Robert ging es darum, dass wir mit dieser Box keine weiteren Mixe der Master bekommen, sondern etwas "Neues". Ob die Mastertakes für diese Veröffentlichung remixed wurden, ist jetzt unerheblich.

Mike du hast mir aus der Seele gesprochen , genau so ist es. Man kann einen neuen Mix machen keine Frage aber Elvis hat sicher nicht mit dem Chor im Studio gestanden u. die Songs eingesungen dass man dann der eigenen Fantasie beim Mix Rechnung trägt.

Elvis ist ja ein wenig mehr in den Hintergrund gemischt worden. Das fällt nur bei wenigen Songs auf.
Aber bei "Don’t Think Twice…" auf CD 1 ist er mir zu weit im Hintergrund. Hier stört mich das sehr! Ich hatte immer das Bedürfnis, die Lautstärke zu erhöhen, was natürlich nichts bringt.

Ja, da hast Du recht, so genau hab' ich es jetzt nicht formuliert, aber so habe ich es natürlich gemeint, also den Mastertake, der ja auch durchaus länger sein kann. Vocal Repair von Elvis gehört natürlich zu Overdubs, den dürfte man also theoretisch auch nicht verwenden. Ich hänge mit dem Hören leider noch etwas hinterher, aber ich greife einmal diesen ausgearbeiteten Post im FECC auf, zur besseren Übersicht, vielleicht hilft er Dir für die CD-Sektion, ist allerdings nicht auf Richtigkeit überprüft:

We can make the morning hört sich ohne Chor genial an.Seine Stimme kommt sehr gut zur Geltung.Ich bleibe dabei,das Songmaterial hätte viel Potential gehabt für ein folk Album,was auch zeitgemäß gewesen wäre.
