Interessant. Polizisten lügen bestimmt nicht! Elvis verhört also Zeugen und notiert die Ergebnisse auf einer braunen Papiertüte die er den eintreffenden Beamten übergibt. Der Hilfsscherif Elvis hat seine Pflicht getan. Irgendwie süß!

Find ich auch, obwohl es ihn sicher gestört hätte, wenn wir seine Polizeiarbeit als süß bezeichnen. Er hat das Ganze schon sehr ernst genommen und wenn man sich Bilder ansieht, auf denen er mit seinen "Polizei-Kollegen" zu sehen ist, sieht man, wie wohl er sich dabei gefühlt hat.

I just finished reading this book.It's a short book and a fairly fast read.The book bascially consists of short paragraphs from various police officers recounting their experiences with Elvis.Starts from the early years right up until the funeral.If anybody wants to believe Elvis is still alive you might want to avoid the book.Some of the officers tell about watching the autopsy and other somewhat disturbng things.Many funny stories also.Most of these I havent heard before.Since the book is fairly cheap I would not hesitate to recommend it.It's not the same old stuff getting rehashed over and over.Not many photos but the ones it did contain were rare.Has a nice photo of Elvis in a booth posing with the revolver of an officer from the 50's.

Das hört sich gut an: Ein kleines, nicht sehr unfangreiches Buch, welches aus Berichten zusammensgestellt ist, welche Polizeibeamte über ihre Einsätze und Erfahrungen mit Elvis verfassten. Auch über schauerliche Berichte über seine Autopsie usw. Das gute an dem Buch, die Stories sind neu, keine alten Kamellen, die man schon mehrfach vorgestezt bekommen hat.
