Bezugsquellen ist hier wieder so ne Sache, weil es sich bis auf die dawn-releases ja *fast* nur um dvd´rs handelt, die von irgendwem zuhause zusammengestellt wurden (mal besser mal schlechter)
für das 10 bzw 12 dvd-set jetzt noch 100 E zu zahlen ist jedoch mehr als übertrieben
soviel wurde noch gezahlt, als die teile ganz am anfang neu rauskamen .. und im nachhinein was selbst das noch zuviel
In dem Fall kann ich nur nochmal aufs Tauschen verweisen, das kommt grade in so einem Fall wesentlich billiger und ist auch praktischer
das 12-dvd set wirst du auch bei nem *räusper* Händler wohl nicht bekommen, und wenn, dann auch nur unter der Theke
Empfehlenswert für den Anfang wären die Dawn-releases aus Tschechien und die STAR-vö´s zu den genannten Themen. (siehe auch das Review zu *Through my eyes* Susan )

Wie soll man bei dem ganzen Elviszeugs noch den Überblick behalten?
Zum Glück bin ich kein Sammler, kann ich da nur sagen.

Okay aber wo ich diese dann bestellen kann weiß keiner gelle? Denn dies sind ja ihrerseits auch keine "genehmigten" lizensierten Produkte oder?

Sie bieten auf die Edition “Mystery Train“: laut Verkäufer stammen die 2 Titelfotos von der Midnight-Show vom 12. Aug.1970 während Elvis Mystery Train / Tiger Man singt.
Es soll insgesamt 12 verschiedene Styles / Frontcover geben, welche das sind ist mir leider nicht bekannt. Der Inhalt soll aber bei allen der gleiche sein.

Qualität: Auf diesen 12 DVD´s sind über 12 Stunden Film und Tonmaterial enthalten, das heißt Sie bekommen das ganze in der best möglichen Qualität und nicht 12 Stunden auf 2 DVD´s.
Wenn man 12 Stunden auf 2 DVD´s packt, dann leidet nun mal die Qualität, nicht so bei diesem 12 DVd Set!

DVD 1-11 enthalten unveröffentliche OUT-TAKES, welche im Originalen Film von 1970 und in der Special Edition von 2001 nicht verwendet worden sind, ein Absolutes MUß für den Elvis-Fan.
Die DVD 12 enthält den originalen Film von 1970, das besondere daran ist; es ist nicht eine minderwertige Kopie einer alten VHS-Kassette, SONDERN die US-Version welche 1997 auf DVD veröffentlicht wurde und seither leider außer Handel ist, ergo, wer die noch nicht hat, braucht sie!
Die DVD 12 hat eine PERFEKTE Bild und Ton Qualität, genauso wie die 2001 Version von Elvis That´s The Way It Is- Special Edition.

Die Qualität von DVD1-11 schwankt zwischen gut und sehr gut, das Bild ist NICHT wie bei anderen "TTWII-OUTTAKES"pixelig und komprimiert. Die schlechteste Bildquliät könnte man mit der alten VHS Version vom origialem 1970 ETTWII vergleichen, aber meistens ist die Qulität besser. Sehen Sie auch unten die Screenshots (Bildschirm Fotografien) um sich einen Eindruck von der Videoqualität dieses Set's zu machen.

Oh, fein mein Guter! Das ist ja mal schick! Danke! Also wenn ich jetzt eine gebrannte DVD ohne Cover hätte, dann würde ich das bei Dir finden auf dem Cover-server? WoH! Da es die DVDs nicht offiziell gibt, gibt es logischerweise auch keine regulären Cover.
Irgendwelche fleissige Menschen haben sich rangemacht und selbst welche kreiert.

Und glaube den "Vorschreibern". Die DVDs lohnen wirklich nicht. Da kannst du dir wirklich lieber die Zusammenfassung der besten Szenen auf der DAWN Veröffentlichung holen.
