Ist zwar kein Bericht so ganz direkt über Elvis und auch nicht wirklich aktuell, aber ich weiß sonst nicht, wo er hin könnte

Canada. for decades, churches all over the English-speaking world have tried to find new ways to encourage pesople to attend services more regularly. Now an Angelican priest in Canada has had a very unusual idea indeed.
Reveren Dorian Baxter performs adapted versions of Elvis Presley songs at his services. Wearing long, Elvis-style sideburns, Baxter sings a song that begins: "Well, it's one for the Father, two for the Son ..." to the melody of Elvis Presle's
Blue Suede Shoes.
Baxter's local diocese was not happy with his innovative concept, however, and he was bannedfrom preaching. So the 53-year-old prist simply created his own church in a Legion hall in the town of Newmarket near Toronto. Baxter calls it "Christ the King,
Graceland independent AnglicanChurch of Canada".
One year afterstarting the church, Baxter says he ist pleased with the results. "Most of my success in leading people to the Lord was in using Elvis as Gospel music," he told the Canadian television station CBC.
