I've said this before about the subject of whether Elvis knew he was going to die:

Nobody....not even ELVIS...knew that Elvis was going to die that soon. There's just no way to know that - and he didn't have bone cancer! If he had, it would have shown up in the autopsy when they were examining him post-mortem.

And......she absolutely was not his fiance' when he died! Why? Because if two people are engaged and one of them dies, there's no more "engagement"...it's that simple. He gave her that ring so she would stay by his side.

He definitely was NOT going to marry her - even his closest friends confirm this (BIlly Smith and even the late Sonny West said privately that Elvis had no intention of marrying into that crazy family).
