Following on from the success of FTD's CLASSIC album versions of FROM ELVIS IN MEMPHIS and BACK IN MEMPHIS, FTD presents the remaining recordings from his legendary sessions at American Sound in Memphis recorded in1969. Finally, these great tracks are issued as a stand-alone album with unreleased outtakes, un-dubbed versions and instrumentals. ELVIS at AMERICAN SOUND STUDIO completes the 69 Memphis trilogies, and fittingly gets the FTD CLASSIC album treatment to complement the other two releases.

Dann kommt noch ein Spl. von America über den man diskutieren kann. Die Single Version u. der Schluss der Studio Version. Besser gesagt was davon übergeblieben ist.

Dann sind alle Mastertakes auch ohne OD zu hören.

Hier ist die Ausbeute etwas geringer da es die wunderbare Import Serie gegeben hat.

Wirklich neu sind

Hey Jude - Take 3,5, 6 - gerade auf diese Takes haben viele Fans gewartet.
Dann gibt es auch wieder die Mastertakes ohne die späteren OD. Besonders interessant bei Songs wie Who Am I, If I'm The Fool For Loving You, Kentucky Rain, Hey Jude. Diese waren zwar schon auf der Bootleg LP Memphis Memories zu hören aber in einer fürchterlichen Qualität. Auch nehme ich mal an viele Fans werden diese LP wohl nicht besitzen.
