Alfred hat unsere Frage wegen der Hound Dog Session Fotos nochmal persönlich beantwortet, ich finde jetzt den Thread nicht:

Alfred i have a question about the Hound Dog Session Pictures. Did you really take the pictures whilst Elvis was recording or where they faked, by the means he pretended to record? We were discusing this as your camera sound s might have disturbed the recording...do you know which fotos I talk about?

Answer from AW: I do know those photos they were taken with a medium 105 mml lens. I was at least 12 -15 feet away from Elvis standing next to the drummer, DJ Fontana -- whatever tiny little clik might have been heard from my shutter was at such a low level that it did not get picked up by the microphone . Elvis did quite a few takes to get the song right and I cant be certain which take I photographed but it was not posed -- it was the real thing. Of all the photographs that were taken only about 2 were posed --by Elvis with the Panda on the train who was hamming it up into the camera. Everything else was spontaneous."

Alfred Wertheimer hat bestimmt keinen Dünkel und er ist ein sehr netter, umgänglicher Mensch.

Als ich ihm vor einiger Zeit in FB eine Freundschaftsanfrage schickte und ich ihm erzählte, aus welcher Ecke Deutschlands ich komme, hat er sich wirklich dafür interessiert. Ich schickte ihm daraufhin ein Foto, das Ahrtal im Herbst. Er hat sich herzlich dafür bedankt und meinte noch, dass er sich Deutschland wirklich nochmal gern anschauen würde, zumal seine Vorfahren von hier kamen.

Es ist bestimmt nicht selbstverständlich, bei der Fülle der Nachrichten, die er so erhält, dass er sich so nett mit mir unterhalten hat. :-)

Hatte ich es doch genauso gesagt: ein Profifotograf erinnert sich an solche Dinge wie zB ein besonderes Objektiv.

Also nicht nur irgendwann während der Session (was ja auch schon angezweifelt wurde), sondern sogar während den Aufnahmen und nichts war gestellt, alles spontan (bis auf 2 Fotos - aber nicht an diesem Datum - von ca. 4000 insg.).
