Las Vegas' Voice - Volume One

Coming soon from the Rock Legends label is the first volume of '' Las Vegas' Voice '', featuring the complete February 3, 1974 Midnight show. It's not often recordings from Elvis' 10th concert season in Las Vegas were released in such good quality. This show is taken from an unreleased original booth recording and way above average from the standard audience recording. The sound quality is excellent and reveal altogether that Elvis was happy to be back in Vegas, especially with his new contract for appearing only two weeks instead of the usual four weeks up to the August 1973 season. Besides the only released soundboard from the January / February Las Vegas season this is certainly one of the best sounding show ever put out from this engagement. Watch out for the second volume with a complete unreleased show from the very same season !

Booth Recording !?

Ich dachte immer, die gab es nur 1973. :gruebel:

Cisco hat schon öfter angemerkt, daß es auch von 1974 solche Aufnahmen gibt und FTD Ausschnitte davon auf der I Found My Thrill veröffentlicht hat.

Und wie sieht es jetzt aus? Wurden die Shows korrigiert? Hat sie schon wer?

Außerdem hatten wir diese Show doch erst vor Kurzem auf With a Humble Heart.
Ist das jetzt eine Wiederveröffentlichung oder ein neues Band?

Soll soundbooth sein...also mit 2 Mikros aufgenommen..bleibt zu prüfen....ansonsten
hatten wir das Ding von SA komplett und in gutem Klang.

Da ist nichts mit 2 Mikros aufgenommen. Pur Mono.

Klar mono.....ist kein stereo Effekt wahrnehmbar..?

Nee. Aber ich nehme was anderes wahr. Das ist nicht die Show vom 3. Februar, sondern die vom 2. Februar, MS.

Das steht auch auf dem aktualisierten Cover.

Die Show ist natürlich fast identisch, aber die Laufzeiten der Songs sind unterschiedlich und es fehlt The First Time Ever.

So wie ich gehöhrt habe, hatten die Hersteller Volume 1 und 2 vertauscht und später berichtigt.. Die kommende Vol. 2 wird dann die Schow vom 3. Feburar werden.

Die vom 2.2. ist normale AR..die vom 3.2. soll soundbooth sein, so wie die von SA.

So ist es. Aber nichtsdestotrotz ist die Soundqualität nicht schlecht... auf der Vol. 1.
