Madison is back once more and happy to present a brand new limited edition CD release containing some fantastic acetate recordings.
Fans have frequently expressed a strong wish to hear Elvis as he sounded in the studio, undiluted by overdubs and excessive vocal backing, and now is your chance to hear exactly this.
Madison is bringing you the first of a series containing rare acetates, this first volume contains tracks recorded between the 1970 Nashville sessions to the 1976 jungle room sessions, these songs have had plenty of releases over the past decades from their respective master tapes but the acetates have remained mostly in private collections.
On this disc you are provided with a unique listening experience, the acetates and their different mixes will take you back to the time Elvis was listening to these.
Listen to some fantastic tracks like the unedited full length version of ''Don't Think Twice, It's All Right'' which has a different mix compared to previous official outings, and the stereo acetate of the undubbed version of ''Help Me Make It Through The Night'' the stunning ''Loving Arms'' and lonesome ''Hurt'', and the stand out track is most definitely ''Miracle Of The Rosary'' which features Elvis his full length vocal overdub, which has not been released before in this form.
This Limited Edition CD is presented in optimum sound quality, with respect for the historical content.
And as always with the Madison releases, it is presented in a jewel case with a 16 page booklet containing liner notes and some fantastic photos.

Braucht man dies, oder besser gesagt gab es das schonmal auf silberling?

Alles gab es bereits. Miracle Of The Rosary Laufzeit 2. 52 ist etwas haarig könnte aber auch daran liegen weil man das Rehearsal + FS was wahrscheinlich Take 3 darstellt aber auf der Back In Nashville Box vor Take 4 hineingeschnitten wurde.

Ist das überhaupt das alte Madison Label oder ein Fake Label, das nur den alten Namen nutzt? Ist nicht der Madison Gründer schon lange verstorben?

Ja der ist bereits verstorben. Ob es das Madison Label ist od. auch nicht ist meiner Meinung auch nicht von großer Bedeutung weil Fakt ist es gibt halt heutzutage durch das FTD Label kaum mehr unveröff. Studio Material u. deshalb sind die meisten Bootlegs in dieser Richtung für die Tonne.

Ja, steht auch auf der Coverrückseite falsch.

Muss man diese CD unbedingt haben , die Antwort ist nein es sei den man ist ein Session Freak der wirklich jeden Schnipsel bzw. Mix haben möchte.
Bei den meisten Songs wurde nur ein anderer Mix verwendet z. B. Schlagzeug jetzt im linken Kanal statt vorher mittig usw.

Das Highlight für mich ist Help Me Make It Through The Night der UD Mastertake mit dem Chor der ja zusammen mit Elvis eingesungen wurde. Auf allen Bootlegs bisher hatte das Acetate einen Sprung u. deshalb fehlte ein Stück am Anfang des Songs u. im Hintergrund hörte man noch das Orchester. Also jetzt zum Ersten mal den tatsächlichen Mastertake weil auf der Back In Nashville Box hat man den Backup Chor eliminiert.

Miracle Of The Rosary hier jetzt mit dem Vocal OD von Elvis u. vom Backup Chor beides wurde ja am gleichen Tag am 19.Mai 71 u. möglicherweise auch zusammen eingesungen hatten wir so ohne Orchester OD noch nie.

Ich lese überall immer Hurt klingt so gut auf dieser Import nur wir haben es hier mit dem Remix von der Our Memories Of Elvis Serie zu tun also ohne Chor also nicht der UD Master der ist nach wie vor nur auf der Import Among Friends zu finden u. dort leider in eher bescheidener Tonqualität.
