Lee Majors in clambake

Ich weiß nicht wem es schon alles aufgefallen ist aber lee Majors hätte eine kleine Statisten Rolle in clambake ... wirklich Mini als Kellner ... jetzt frage ich mich , wie dsss wohl zustande kam, da er ja damals schon ein relativ bekannter Schauspieler war ( big valley drehte er ja zu dieser Zeit ) weiß jemand mehr darüber

er war jung und brauchte das geld :grins:

Jetzt habe ich das Clambake-Kapitel in Bill Brams Buch überflogen. Ich habe nichts über die Sache mit Lee Majors gefunden.

Aber etwas anderes ist mir aufgefallen:

Aber viele waren so schlecht, dass er sagte: "Nein, das mache ich nicht." Manchmal stand er dann auf um ihnen zu sagen, dass er es nicht machen würde.

Sie trafen Abkommen mit den Songwritern und sagten ihnen:
"Ihr bekommt keinen Cent bevor der Song nicht auf einem Soundtrack-Album nach der Filmpremiere veröffentlicht ist."
Das war wirklich schlimm. Sie bekamen zuvor kein Geld für das Schreiben der Songs. >>

Ich denke, dass das Wissen über das Verfahren mit den Songwritern Elvis unter Druck gesetzt und ihn angetrieben hat, das Album ohne größere Probleme fertig zu stellen. Hässliche Sache.

Das ist aber keine Besonderheit mit den Songwritern sondern ganz normal. Die bekommen ihr Geld wenn ein Song von einem Künstler aufgenommen wird u. nicht weil die das Lied schreiben. Wenn ein Song verworfen wird dann schaut der Songwriter zwischen die Finger, es sei den ein anderer Interpret nimmt sich der Komposition an.

Oh, echt? Das ist aber unschön! Wenn ich Sängerin wäre, hätte ich voll das schlechte Gewissen wenn ich Songs ablehnen würde :grins:

Es handelt sich hierbei im Übrigen um quasi Uralt-Dateien meines Rechners, mehr als 13 Jahre alt. Da war ergo schon mal was.... ;-) (Bessere Scans von DVD/Blu-ray kann ja jeder.)

So I’m cleaning up a table, and Elvis is about 5 or 10 feet away from where I’m cleaning, and as he’s talking to her, I’m knocking over glasses and shit. Finally they said, “Cut!” And he didn’t look around—he just kind of shrugged—but I think I did it three times in a row, and on the third time he turned around and said, “What the fuck are you doing?” [Laughs.] I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to say that. “What the hockey puck are you doing?”

AVC: It’s all right. We won’t censor you here.

LM: Well, anyway, the next take, I did it right, and you can spot me back there. So, yeah, it’s me with the mustache, cleaning the table behind him. He called me “Double Trouble,” because they did a movie where he was playing cousins [Kissin’ Cousins], and he had to play a blonde, so he played two parts and had to dye his hair blonde for the one part. And his Memphis Mafia kept teasing him: “You look like that guy on The Big Valley, Heath Barkley!” [Laughs.] So he called me “Double Trouble,” and we used to play tricks on each other all the time. He’d be on stage in Vegas at the old International Hotel, and I’d come off the other side from where he’s leaning down and singing, and I’d get some scarves and bring ’em out, and he’d hear this roaring over there from the other side of the stage, and he’d see me and go, “What the hell are you doing over there?” We’d do stuff like that all the time. We had a good time. It’s too bad he died so young.

Na, wie sollte es denn auch sonst ablaufen? Wer sollte denn Songwriter bezahlen, deren Songs nie aufgenommen, nie veröffentlicht werden und daher auch keinen Cent Gewinn bringen?

Songwriter sind wie Buchautoren. Die werden auch nicht dafür bezahlt, dass sie Verlegern Bücher vorlegen, die diese aber nie verlegen/verkaufen (können).

Ergibt durchaus Sinn, nicht wahr?

Ja ist logisch. Ich habe nicht weiter drüber nachgedacht weil Stoker das so herausstellte. Es ergab sich dadurch der Eindruck als wenn es etwas Besonderes wäre.

Und nu zurück zum eigentlichen Thea: Erhielt Majors eigentlich Gage für seine Rolle?
