@Memphis: Die Rundreise ist günstiger. Der Hin- und Rückflug nach Atlanta ist günstiger als ein Multiway-Flug und wir sparen die Einwegmiete des Mietwagens...
Es sind ca. 4000 km. Das geht noch ins 16 Tagen...

@Brandi: wir sind am 04. Juli dort. Dann gibt es am Mississippi bestimmt auch ein Feuerwerk. Jippie!!!!
Bin mal gespannt, ob ich den Crawfish-Balkon finde...

Ich freu mich sooooo auf Graceland. :hurra: Ich glaube, ich dreh total ab, wenn ich dort bin.

ich habe gerade einen neuen flyer von graceland zugeschickt bekommen (infos sind wahrscheinlich schon bekannt.... aber ich hab nix gefunden :ups:)

neue exhibits:
  • elvis in hollywood
  • elvis lives : the king and the pop culture
  • graceland 70th aniversary exhibit (vip tour only)

in einem anderen flyer ist noch folgendes erwähnt:
  • Celebrate Elvis Presley: Fashion king (New 2010)
Look inside Elvis' closet and explore the fashion trends set by the King of Rock'n' Roll with his own unique style and custom-made clothing in this new 2010 exhibit at Graceland. This unique exhibit will showcase everything from Elvis' handmade shirts and suits to his iconic stage wear an flashy jewelry, giving visitors at first-hand look at how to dress like royalty.

Die "VIP only exhibition" war, meine ich, bis zur Geburtstagswoche diese 70 Jahre Graceland Ausstellung. In der Geburtstagswoche wurden die Jumpsuits gezeigt und jetzt... :noidea:? Ich dachte eigentlich immer, dass die VIP-Ausstellung nicht so häufig wechselt. Auf der anderen Seite ist es für die Jumpsuits vielleicht auch nicht soooo toll, wenn die offen im Raum stehen und da jeden Tag so viele Menschen dran vorbei laufen.

einige der jumpsuits waren ja auch sonst in der ausstellung. natürlich hinter glas...

schaun mer mal, bis oktober modeln die vll. noch fünfmal um ;-).

Die National Hemophilia Foundation (Hemophilia = Bluter-Krankheit) veranstaltet jährlich einen Weihnachtsstern-Verkauf, dort werden diese Blumen dann von Fans gekauft, nach Graceland geliefert und dort aufgestellt. Die stehen wirklich überall, nicht nur auf der Treppe.
Scheinbar hat EPE die Verbindung zur Hemophilia Foundation nicht fortgesetzt oder es war eine Fehl-Info.
Dieses Jahr gehen die Spenden jedenfalls in "eigene" Charity-Projekte (Presley Place):
