der verkäufer wohnt übrigens ein paar hundert meter luftlinie entfernt von mir (und hatte das alles doppelt!).

5 songs sind drauf: you don't have to say you love me, sweet caroline, i just can't help believin', you've lost that lovin' feelin', polk salad annie. im klappcover sind die texte in japanisch und englisch abgedruckt. die japsen tun das bekanntlich gerne (karaoke-rohmaterial?) und sind sehr drollig darin, auch ausrufe wie "sing this out baby" oder "one more time" oder "hup" (sic!) oder "whoo" mitabzudrucken.
promo ist's keine. am cover steht "compact grandprix series". ist sicher was neueres. katalognummer SRA-95. del, übernehmen Sie.

ich hab vorhin in der dezemberausgabe des RECORD COLLECTOR gelesen, dass die verkaufszahl von 7" singles in england im jahr 2006 auf 1,5 millionen (einheiten) gestiegen ist. im jahr 2001 waren es noch 179.000.
solche umsätze sind natürlich für große plattenfirmen immer noch kommerziell irrelevant, aber andererseits zeigen sie, dass das in den achzigern groß hinausposaunte ende des vinyls nicht in sicht ist. und das ist gut so!

seitdem ich sieh in einem stuttgarter plattenladen sah, bin ich verliebt in die japanische ausgabe der ttwii.
sie hat ein klappcover und das cover ist voll fette pappe. dann sind da so ein paar seiten eingeheftet und ich meine es war ein doppelseitiges bild drin.
unheimlich sexy das ganze.
kennt sich jemand aus mit japan-pressungen? kamen die so (foc etc.) original heraus oder sind das spezielle wiederveröffentlichungen?
