Elvis was a hip-swinging boy on the Ed Sullivan Show, a Hollywood charmer who got the girl, a rocker in black leather and the undisputed king of Las Vegas. The real Elvis was even more complex, and for his 75th birthday, the American Elmore Magazine salutes “the country star Elvis†with a beautiful 8 page special – or as the article says: they could take the boy out of the country, but they couldn't take country out of the King.
