ist das jetzt ein Grund nie wieder zu schreiben, dass er an dem Tag gestorben sei, wo das doch hinlänglich bekannt ist ?

Also ohne Dir auf die Füße treten zu wollen, ich denke Du hast das aus meiner Sicht geniale Konzept von Bud Glass hier nicht verstanden. Für mich war es bisher die Produktion schlechthin, die mir am meisten die Augen geöffnet bzw. verschiedene Fakten so geschickt kombiniert hat, wo ich selber die Verknüpfungen noch gar nicht im Kopf vollzogen hatte obwohl ich die meisten Fakten schon durch eigene Recherche kannte.

Das Buch bietet nichts neues ? Also ich finde es äußerst hilfreich und entspannedn nocheinmal die Story zum Nachlesen zu haben und die Schriftstücke selber mal lesen zu können ohne ständig die Pausetaste auf der Fernbedienung zu drücken und im Nachhinein die Spuren am TV vom Naseplattdrücken wieder wegwischen zu müssen

würdest du bitte hier nicht of topic gehen...das er die dinge schon gewusst hat kann selbstverständlich nicht sein...weiss nicht warum er das sagt...für mich eindeutig die wichtigste veröffentlichung und ich wüsste nicht wo es in den letzten jahren mehr unbekannte fakten gab wie dort...

aber wenn es grundsätzlich nicht interessiert weil ein elvis leben und die zusammenhänge die zu diversen dingen führten auch nicht interessiert kann ich das durchaus akzeptieren ....

aber bitte wenns was über pt gibt dann da posten...lol

Habe das Buch gestern erhalten und ein wenig darin gelesen. Ich kann nur sagen: Super!

Technisch ist das Buch (wie bei Praytome üblich) exzellent gemacht und auch sehr gut geschrieben. Dazu gibts wieder zahlreiche (zumindest mir) unbekannte Fotos - wie immer auch die in bester Qualität.

Wer sich für die Konzert-Tourneen des King in den 1970ern interessiert, sollte dieses Buch auf jeden Fall gelesen haben.
