Parker´s Office in Nashville steht zum Verkauf

The "Holy Grail" of music management offices is available for sale to the most discriminating "collector" and Elvis Presley / music history aficionado. The home and offices from which Colonel Tom Parker guided Elvis's phenomenal career--taking him from a relatively unknown, regional, hillbilly singer to the greatest pop cultural icon the world ever has witnessed--are being sold due to the retirement of the current owner.
Nashville is Music City USA. The historic treasures that remain in Nashville include the people who have held onto stories witnessed first-hand, as well as artifacts inclusive of what would be considered old stomping grounds such as recording studios, "hole-in-the wall" bars and eateries, mansions built from platinum record sales, and homes made into makeshift management offices where careers were managed, molded, fabricated and at times discarded. The property at 1215 Gallatin Pike in nearby Madison, TN., is just such an example. Music historians would agree that this address represents one of the most significant music history treasures in Tennessee, as significant to the life and career of Elvis Presley as Sun Records, RCA Studio B, Audubon Drive, and Graceland.
The Colonel Tom Parker Management Office on Gallatin Pike in Madison stands as a testament to the old cliché, "if these walls could talk." As confined within this cluster of unassuming stone buildings the walls would tell of unconventional business dealings, old venues booked, and colorful stories of how a Dutch immigrant managed the career of the greatest voice the world has ever heard...the most significant charismatic recording artist to grace a stage, Elvis Presley.
Eddy Arnold, Hank Snow, and numerous other "Country & Western" recording artists also had their careers negotiated from these offices, and during Elvis' career would frequent the office during their rise and subsequent chapters of their own careers. Photos and books document their casual "drop ins" to see the Colonel. The property would eventually become the North Law Office, just minutes from downtown Nashville, the Grand Ole Opry on Briley Parkway, and Hank Snow's Rainbow Ranch in an adjacent neighborhood. The property remains extremely well maintained, having retained much of the original 1950's charm, as noted in the knotty pine paneling, entertainment bar, and pink-and-black and aqua tiled bathrooms. The home has been extremely well preserved over the years, decades from 1956 and 1957 when Elvis would swing by from recording sessions at RCA or en-route back to Memphis, to Audubon Drive or his new mansion on the hill....Graceland.
Today the property is available for sale to become a bed and breakfast, museum, or office facility. Commercial considerations and appropriate branding / brand exploitations are all possibilities based on the zoning and major traffic flow vicinity. All accompanying documents referencing structural and landmark criteria regarding building materials, age per structure, zoning, commercial surroundings etc., are available upon request for qualified buyers. Bidding requirements are based on prior relationships with Rockology LLC and / or submission of a bank letter verifying qualifications to financially purchase. Any questions regarding this criteria and the history of the property can be directed through eBay or via a call to Rockology at 615-504-1512. We request that initial inquiries be in writing through eBay. Naturally, on-site viewing is available with prior arrangements for qualified buyers only. We request any music fan and / or interested party not ask to see the property with the owner as the property remains a functioning law office and any on-site viewing will be conducted during non-business hours. For media questions, please contact LCMedia at lcmedia@comcast.net or 615-331-1710.
***Rockology LLC holds the rights to withdraw the auction at any time for any reason.
