On June 21, there will be 3 new releases available from FTD:
"AMARILLO ‘77" – a 1977 soundboard recording from Civic Center, Amarillo. 5" digipack.
"STAGE REHEARSAL" – a collection of stage rehearsals from 1970, 1972 and 1973 recorded at the International Hotel, Las Vegas (later renamed The Las Vegas Hilton). 5" digipack.
"THE ‘POT LUCK’ SESSIONS" – a limited edition 2-disc 12" vinyl set.

Following on from the successful HOW GREAT THOU ART vinyl set, FTD is pleased to announce THE POT LUCK SESSIONS. It contains the best of the outtakes from the hugely successful FTD CD edition. The album is packaged in a gloss gatefold sleeve and features nostalgic original RCA Victor inner bags.
REASONS TO BUY
Due to the increase in material costs, FTD vinyl prices will increase in July 2011. This release is being made available at the current dealer price.
Back catalogue items that are still available will increase in July too so it is recommended to get orders in now if stock is required.

Danke für die Info über die nächsten 3 FTD`s.Schade nur,daß für den Studio Freak ( z.B. Ich ),diesesmal nichts dabei ist.Auch das SUN Buch, auf welches wir schon jahrelang warten ist immer noch nicht dabei.Also : Üben wir uns in Geduld.

Dafür bekommen wir eine neue unveröff. Show vom 24.3.77 Amarillo.Dieses Konzert hat es bis jetzt noch nicht einmal als AR existiert.
Die Rehearsals bringen glaube ich nichts neues zu Tage.

Eine neue Show, ein schönes neues Vinyl-Album und eine Proben-Zusammenstellung - nicht so schlecht, würde ich mal ganz spontan sagen ... :top:

Und was die Proben betrifft, bin ich auf die Soundqualität von so manchen Dingen sehr gespannt, speziell "Leavin' It Up To You" oder auch "Portrait Of My Love" ... :cool:

So, und jetzt ist die "1977-ist-sowieso-alles-scheiße" und/oder "Wer-braucht-heute-noch-Vinyl" Fraktion dran ... :grins:

Die Rehearsal der erste Teil stammt vom 10.8.70.Das meiste davon war auf der Bootleg Hang Loose zu hören.Bin mal gespannt wie die Tonqualität ist u. ob dort die Songs comp. vorhanden sind.

Die Quali auf der alten Bilko war jetzt nicht grottenschlecht, aber auch nicht gerade umwerfend ... von daher wird auch das interessant! :top:

So, von 1977 ist doch sowieso alles scheiße (und wie er da aussah) und ehrlich, wer braucht heute noch Vinyl? Und Proben? Ganz erhlich, das meiste ist verlacht und war nie für eine offizielle Veröffentlichung vorgesehen und bringt daher auch nicht den Standard, den man von 1969, MSG oder Aloha gewöhnt ist.

Genau die hab ich Ernst am 4.5.2009 vorgeschlagen, zusammen mit der Sioux Falls vom 22.6.....hab ihm da ne schöne Liste gemacht..ob er auf mich gehört hat..?...:grins:

Die Frage für mich ist warum hat er 2 Jahre gebraucht bis er auf dich gehört hat.:grins:
