In order to stop all speculation, let me tell you this:

The upcoming BOXCAR release will feature 3 UNRELEASED soundboard recordings. One of them is the ENTIRE performance from start to finish. This is probably the only complete SB recording made in 1977. On all other recordings the first few songs or the last few songs are missing because they were not recorded. simple as that.

Some of you out there already knew this but I just wanted to make it clear to those who didn´t.

By the way, the BOXCAR release that will come AFTER the 1977 box will kill you........ I am currently restoring the sound. Fantastic material !!!!! Elvis is really kicking ass........

Ehrlich gesagt macht mir dieses "restoring the sound" etwas Angst. Das hat selten etwas gebracht bei den Bootleggern.

Aufgrund der diversen negativen Vorkommnisse in der letzten Zeit bin ich mittlerweile ja auch schon zum Gegner von diesen Verschlimmbesserungen mutiert. Im Fall vom Mr. DAE geh ich aber mal davon aus, dass er sein Handwerk versteht ... dies hat er in der Vergangenheit ja schon oft genug bewiesen, wenn ich an frühere Veröffentlichungen denke :top:

..ich denke wenn DAE an der box arbeitet, muss es auch gut rauskommen !!
